Great fun was had by all at our 'Maths for Fun' Day on the 16th of May. This is an annual event organised by Mrs Kirby, our Deputy Principal. It gives children an opportunity to put maths skills learnt in class to work, solving problems inside and outside the classroom. Various activities are organised throughout the school for each class level, with a view to highlighting the importance of maths skills in the children's day to day lives. Children are invited to bring in traditional, age appropriate board games to school . As this is a 'Maths for Fun Day'. Children and staff can wear something with a maths theme e.g. football jerseys(with numbers), birthday badges, clothes with stripes/patterns/shapes/ dots. A big thank you to Mrs Kirby and all the parents who assisted with the maths activities for a fantastic day! Check out some of the photos!
